Scene 1: Int. - Front Room - Evening
Wonder Woman puts arms around Brian.
Brian
I am a fool aren't I?
Wonder Woman smiles.
Brian
These delusions. (BEAT) They are not real are they?
Brian looks at Wonder Woman.
Brian
She does not even know who I am. (BEAT) Does she? (PAUSE) She will never be mine? (PAUSE) What am I to do?
Wonder Woman looks at Brian
Wonder Woman holds Brian's hands.
Wonder Woman
Brian. You are a wonderful human being. You are a lovely and kind man.
Wonder Woman smiles.
Wonder Woman
And you are a fantastic lover.
Brian smiles.
Wonder Woman
And you still have me. (BEAT) Don't you?
Brian Frowns.
Brian looks down at ground.
Brian
But you are not real. You are just part of my imagination. (PAUSE) My warped (BEAT) sick (BEAT) delusional (BEAT) imagination.
Brian looks into Wonder Woman's eyes.
Brian
Am I really that good a lover?
Wonder Woman closes eyes.
Wonder Woman
Yes. (PAUSE) You are.
Wonder Woman tips her head back.
Brian
And you are so gorgeous. (PAUSE) If I can't have her (PAUSE) then.
Brian leans over to Wonder Woman.
Brian kisses Wonder Woman on the neck.
Brian
I guess. (BEAT) You will have to do.
Wonder Woman

Scene 2: Int. - Front Room - Evening
Brian walks around room.
Brian stops in front of Candidate-one
Brian
I don't believe you stood me up like that.
Brian continues to walk around room.
Brian stops in front of candidate-one.
Brian
You promised you would be there.
Candidate-one
You realise I am not real don't you?
Brian waves hand at candidate-one.
Brian
Don't give me that.
Brian continues to walk around room.
Brian stops in front of candidate-one.

Why didn't you show up?
Candidate-one
Well. (BEAT) To be honest. (BEAT) Would you go to lunch with someone(PAUSE) like you?
Brian looks up into air.
Brian
What's wrong with me?
Candidate-one
What? Apart from the fact that you are quite mad?.
Brian
What do you mean?
Candidate-one opens arms.
Brian looks left to right.
Brian
That's no excuse.(BEAT) I am not dangerous am I?(PAUSE) I just see people.
Candidate-one
That are NOT there. (BEAT) Who are NOT real. (BEAT) Who you do NOT even know. (PAUSE) And you expect them to turn up for a date (PAUSE) in person.(PAUSE) That's not normal (BEAT) now is it?
Brian looks at candidate-one
Brian
But it's not my fault. I was fine until all this guff happened. I had a family. I had a job. I was happy. Everything was hunky-doorey in the world. Then it just collapsed. Like a pack of cards. I don't normally talk to delusions.
Brian rolls eyes.
Brian
I don't even normally even have delusions.
Candidate-one
So?(BEAT) What are you going to do?
Brian
I am going to sort myself out.
Brian punches air like a boxer.
Brian
I am going to come back fighting.
Candidate-one raises eye brows.
Candidate-one
And the delusions?
Brian
It is not a problem that I can't fix.
Candidate-one smiles.
Candidate-one disappears.
Scene 3: Int. - Front Room - Evening
Brian looks at mirror.
Brian
Why did she smile like that?
Brian rubs face with right hand.

Did she mean something by it?
Brian looks up into air.
Brian
Come to think of it. People have always treated me oddly.
Brian looks at himself in mirror.
Brian moves head left to right.
Brian
Well I look normal. Nothing special. But nothing too peculiar.
Brian stares at himself hard in mirror.
Scene 4: Int. - Front Room - Evening
Larry appears next to Brian.
Brian looks at Larry's reflection in mirror.
Brian slowly looks around To Larry.
Larry smiles.

Brian stands back.

What?(BEAT) Who?(BEAT) Where did you come from?
Larry swagger's on spot.
Larry smiles.
Larry
Cool isn't it?
Brian looks Larry up and down.
Brian
Cool. Are you some sort of freak?
Larry points at Brian.
Larry

Brian opens arms.
Brian
What the Mary Poppin's are you wearing?
Larry swaggers on spot.
Larry

Larry grabs cob piece.

Brian

LArry
Yeh. Well. That's the way it is (PAUSE) dude.
Scene 5: Int. - Front Room - Evening
Brian is on sofa
Larry is on other sofa
Brian looks at Larry.
Brian shakes head.
Larry smiles and nods.

Yes way.(PAUSE) Don't you remember all those funny looks you had when you used to go shopping?
Brian

Larry stares hard at Brian.

Well maybe the odd one or two funny looks.
Brian looks back at LArry.

But NO WAY did they look at me as if I was Larry Blackman. (PAUSE) In a cod piece.(PAUSE) That is just plain silly.
Larry
Do you remember last week. At the shopping centre?
Brian looks into air.
Scene 6: Ext. - Shopping Centre - Day
Larry walks along corridor.
Two security guards Larry.
Security-guard-one is in front.
Security-guard-one watches Larry.
Security-guard-one puts walkie-talkie to mouth.
Security-guard-one
Suspect in sight.
Larry walks past Security-guard-one.
Security-guard-one nods to other security guards.
Security-guard-one follows Larry.
Scene 7: Ext. - Shopping Centre - Day
Larry walks into the shop.
Larry stops.
Larry looks around shop.
Shop- assistant-one whispers to Shop- assistant-Two.
Shop assistant-two sniggers
Scene 8: Ext. - Shopping Centre - Day
Larry walks up to shop assistants.
Larry puts five ties down on counter.
Larry gets out wallet.
Larry puts platinum credit card on counter.
Assistant-one looks at assistant-two.
Assistant-two gestures to supervisor.
Assistant-one
Won't keep you a moment (PAUSE) sir.
Larry

Larry looks around shop.
Assistant-two walks over supervisor.
Assistant-one puts ties through till.
Supervisor walks over counter.
Larry turns round.
Larry looks at assistants.
Assistant-one
Can you sign here please.
LArry
Sure.
LArry signs counterfoil.
Larry hands over counterfoil.
Larry hands over pen.
Assistant-one shows supervisor counterfoil.
Supervisor looks at Larry.
Assistant-two hands over shopping bag.
Assistant-one hands over credit card.
Larry

Larry smiles.
Larry turns.
Larry walks out of shop.
shop assistants and supervisior watch Larry leave.
Scene 9: Ext. - Shopping Centre - Day
Larry walks along corridor.
Security-guard-one follows Larry.
Two security guards watch Larry.
Larry walks through shopping centre doors.
security guards radio to each other.
Security-guard-one
Suspect has left premises.
Larry stops.
Larry looks back.
Larry turns into Brian.
Brian walks off.
Scene 10: Int. - Front Room - Evening
Brian sits back in sofa.
Brian puts hands on head.
Brian
I thought I was just being paranoid?
Larry smiles.
Larry
No it was that they just saw me in you
Brian nods head.
Brian
That explains a lot.
Brian smiles.
Larry smiles.
Brian looks at Larry.
Larry begins to laugh.

Brian laughs.

Five what? (PAUSE) Oh. (BEAT) Alright!
Brian high fives Larry.

Scene 11: Int. - Front Room - Evening
Brian leans across to Larry.
Brian
Boy. So women can see you too.
Larry
It is not so much SEE. (BEAT) More a case that they (BEAT) sense me. (PAUSE) Women sense me (BEAT) in you.
Brian sits back.
Brian
What do you mean?
Larry sits forward.
Larry
Well.
Larry smiles.
Brian looks at Larry puzzled.
Larry
You know?
Brian
Oh. (PAUSE) OH. (BEAT) Really?
Larry sits back.
Larry nods and winks at Brian.
Brian
So I am a real lover man then?
Larry grins.
Larry
You sure are. You got it on top. (BEAT) On bottom. (BEAT) And in the middle. (PAUSE) You got so much of it. It is oozing. (PAUSE) It is oozing all over the place. (PAUSE) You are THE lover man.
Brian laughs.
Brian looks to camera.
Brian
I really am quite insane you know
Larry
You got a fine taste in women and music. Do you know that? (PAUSE) You have so much funk in you (BEAT) that they can smell your funk in the state of Arizona. (PAUSE) Or is that Cali-forn-ia? (PAUSE) Whatever.
Brian nods.
Larry
These youths of today. Don't even know how to tie their own shoe laces. Hell. They don't even have shoe laces. They couldn't smell the funk if it was shoved right up their noses. Damn. They don't even know what day of the week it is.
Brian looks to camera.
Brain
I don't even know what day of the week its?
Brian looks back to Larry.
Larry
Back in the day. We knew how to get down. We knew how to shake our thangs.
Brian looks to camera.
Brian
Actually. Most of the people I knew were pretty dull.
Brian looks back to larry.
Larry
We should form a band. You, me and Wonder Woman. (BEAT) We could call ourselves (PAUSE) The Delusionals. I could be on bass, you could program the machines, and Wonder Woman could sing. (PAUSE) She's got a great voice. She's got a great ass. She's got a pair of great.(PAUSE)
Brian coughs.
Brian
Yes. (BEAT) Well. (BEAT) You see there are two problems with that idea.
Larry looks bewildered at Brian.
Larry
Two problems?
Brian
Yes. (PAUSE) Two problems. (PAUSE) One. (BEAT) You are a figment of my rather vivid imagination.
Brian stands up.
Larry
And the other one?
Brian
You. (BEAT) Are. (BEAT) A.
Brian walks over to Larry.
Brian
Figment. (BEAT) Of. (BEAT) My. (BEAT) Very.(BEAT) Vivid.
Larry
Let me guess. (BEAT) Imagination?
Brian looks at Larry.
Brian
Yes. (BEAT) Imagination.
Larry
Then you will just have to imagine harder.
Brian shakes head.
Brian turns.
Brian walks towards kitchen.
Larry
Feel the force Luke. Feel the force.
Brian looks to camera.
Brian
I knew there was a reason why I hated Star Wars.
Brian walks into kitchen.

camera continues to zoom out as if from the centre of the Universe.
